Misbaha, Tasbeeh, Tasbih, Tespih & Prayer Beads

What is Misbaha, Tasbeeh, Tasbih, Tespih or Prayer Beads?

To answer this we need to understand the concept of dhikr or remembrance in Islam.

Dhikr is a very powerful and simple way to worship Allah and be aware of him. By praising and glorifying Allah we are showing our gratitude to Him and acknowledging His majesty.

Allah says in the Quran:

“O you who believe! Remember Allah with much remembrance”
(Quran 33:41)

Remembering Allah, keeps us rooted to the bigger picture. One of the ways of remembering Allah is through the ritual reciting of key phrases, worshipping and glorifying Him.

Misbaha, Tasbeeh, Tasbih, Tespih or Prayer Beads are a way to keep track of the number of times you are reciting the phrase.

The term Misbaha is generally used by Arabs. Tasbeeh or Tasbih is generally used by Asians and Tespih by Turks.

Whatever you call them, I have a range of Misbaha, Tasbeeh, Tasbih, Tespih or Prayer Beads that I will make by hand for you.
