YOUR CONTRACT WITH HIJAB GEMS

When you place an order on this site, you are making an offer and seek to enter a contract with Hijab Gems. Acceptance of your offer will take effect once you receive an e-mail confirmation with the details of your purchase from Hijab Gems. 

THE AVAILABILITY AND PURCHASE OF GOODS

All our items displayed on our website are subject to availability. We reserve the right to refuse orders where the goods you ordered are not available even if we have confirmed acceptance of your order. If we withdraw from the purchase agreement we will immediately inform you of this and will fully refund the money paid by you for the goods. Non-acceptance of an order may also result from our inability to obtain authorisation of your payment. If there are any problems with your order we shall contact you.

Although we use secure socket layer technology on the hijabgems.com website and we do not process your payment on our domain, we cannot be held liable for any loss you may suffer if a third party procures unauthorised access to any data you provide when accessing or ordering from the website.

Should there be an error in the price of goods on the web site, Hijab Gems reserves the right to supply goods at the correct price and can exercise the right to cancel your order. Customers will be notified by e-mail in such circumstances.

PRODUCTS DESCRIPTIONS

We aim to ensure that the images and description of the items displayed on the site are accurate as possible in terms of colour and size. Whilst every effort has been made to achieve this, we cannot guarantee that the colour displayed on your monitor will accurately reflect the colour of the product on delivery. You may find that the colour of a specific product online will look different on a Mac in comparison to a Windows based PC and from one monitor to another depending on the set up of the PC and/or monitor. Hijab Gems cannot accept responsibility for any slight variances of colour in the actual product received against the colour displayed digitally on screen. 

RETURNS

If you wish to return an item for any reason, it should be received by us within 14 days from the date the order is received. Free gifts as part of offers must also be returned.

Before returning your item, please email us as soon as possible for a return code also providing the reason for requesting a refund. You shall be refunded for the cost of the item. Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We cannot be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit to us in which case we reserve the right to refuse a refund and it will be your responsibility to seek compensation from the carrier. For your protection we recommend you use a recorded-delivery service. If we receive an item which was damaged whilst in your care or which has been returned to us with stains or any kind of marks it will not be refunded.  All hijab pin items must be returned in the gift box provided.. 

For all international returns, the package must be clearly marked as a return. Failure to do so may result in a UK custom tax charge which will be the responsibility of the customer to pay. When returning your parcel, it is advisable to seek clear instructions from your postal service. 

REFUNDS

Refunds are arranged as soon as the returned goods are received by us. Please allow 5-10 working days for the refund to be credited to your account.

EXCHANGES

Please get in touch within 3 days of receiving your order if you wish to exchange your product. You will be responsible for all carriage costs associated with the exchange.

INCOMPLETE & INCORRECT DELIVERY ADDRESSES

Please be aware that we cannot be responsible if an incomplete or incorrect delivery address has been provided by the customer and we have dispatched your parcel to that address.

CANCELLATIONS

Under the Distance Selling Regulations, EU customers can cancel an order at any time until the end of the seventh working day after the day on which you receive your goods. The notice of cancellation must be in writing which can be emailed to us with your order details and number. If you cancel the contract once the goods have been dispatched, please request a return form from us and send it with your item undamaged and in its original packing back to us.

Please note that you will be responsible for the cost of returning the item to us. We can’t be held responsible for goods lost or damaged in transit to us in which case we reserve the right to refuse a refund. If goods are not returned, we reserve the right to charge you the full cost of their direct return to us.

CUSTOMS CHARGES (INTERNATIONAL CUSTOMERS)

When ordering goods from Hijab Gems for delivery overseas you may be subject to import duties and taxes, which must be borne by the recipient. We have no control over these charges and cannot predict what they may be as custom policies vary from country to country.

You are not permitted to copy, download, store, reproduce, republish, post, adapt or change in any way the content or images contained within the web pages of Hijab Gems for any reason without seeking and obtaining permission. By violating any of these conditions, we reserve the right to take active measures against you.
